Stillpoint Retreats
Stillpoint Contemplative Sitting retreats are offered monthly through Mount St. Benedict Monastery, often held at the Glinodo Conference Center. Initiated by Sister Jean Lavin in the early 80s, and based in Christian and Buddhist contemplative traditions, Stillpoint days are open and accessible to those of all faiths and spiritual traditions.
More Information
After an opening prayer, the retreat includes blocks of 20-minute sitting, short meditative walks, and a brief teaching from the Christian or Buddhist contemplative traditions.
Silence is observed throughout the day, including during breaks.
Chairs, mats and cushions are provided; some participants bring their own.
